Mourning the Wrongful Death of George Floyd

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (June 4, 2020) – Regent University mourns the tragic and wrongful death of George Floyd. We are heartbroken during this time, and we deplore every instance of racism, police brutality and evil acts of violence. We stand in support of all efforts of peaceful protest. We must emphasize forcefully that we are completely against rioting, looting, the wholesale destruction of private property and the taking of innocent lives. In John 11, Jesus wept when those around him were hurting. Our response is also to weep; we weep over the divisions in our nation and we are praying for restoration and healing. Together, we look to the LORD and His Word for guidance. Regent University School of Law Unveils Robertson Center for Constitutional Law

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (June 4, 2020) – Regent University School of Law is pleased to announce the opening of the Robertson Center for Constitutional Law. The Robertson Center for Constitutional Law will leverage the expertise of faculty, students, and its global network of alumni and legal experts to promote freedom of speech, separation of powers, and religious freedom. The center has already filed briefs in cases pending before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. “Regent University School of Law was established to train leaders to defend our Constitution and the principles upon which our nation was founded,” said Regent’s founder, chancellor & CEO, Dr. M.
